Reincarnation questions! Feel free to answer them.?

I do strongly believe in reincarnation and I feel as though I have been on this plane of existence many times and in many places. I don't think that I would want to 're live' a life already lived and therefore I don't think I would really want to come back to be in the same family. I personally believe that you only come back as the being that you are but I have always thought it would be cool to come back as a bird and soar through the skies.
