'94 Ford Thunderbird V6 LX 3.8 Turn signal not working?

My '94 Ford Thunderbird V6 LX 3.8 turn signal is not working. The lights do not come on inside or outside the car and no audible clicking sound can be heard. Also the cruise control located on the steering wheel does not seem to work anymore. Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this problem. Are they related?
