Bug collection?!?!?!?!?!?

Over the summer, my science teacher told us that we needed to kill 25 different bugs for a bug collection. I don't want to do that! It's not that I'm scared of bugs, but it is the opisit. I love all creatures, and I don't think that I should be forced to kill them(that is my opinion). And we go to a Lutheran school, so it is even taught that we should respect nature. I talked to him right before school let out and suggested that I could take pictures. That didn't work. I just don't know what to do. Killing God's creation for science isn't what I believe is right! What should I do???
