Diagnosis? *Medical Scenario*?

April, 29 is a graduate student in English at UNC-G. Her dissertation is going well, but lately she has been awakening with sore, stiff, and swollen joints. She had recently taken up jogging, but has switched to walking, hoping that the pain in her knees will lessen. It has not. Her wrists and fingers have been hurting too, and she got some ergonomic pads to adjust her position while she is typing her dissertation. It has helped a little, but she is still in some pain.
