Do you believe the U.S. economy will be okay, just as the president said some hours ago?

I do NOT think this economy will ever recover.. it may stablilize some but the damage has been done. You can't very well come back from losing everything you have worked your entire life for. Even if gas goes down tomorrow and EVERY person in the world gets a job with benefits, it will take Years to rebuild what has fallen..and the damage and lets face it...things are not going to get any better any time soon. It use to be that the american dream was to go to college maybe, get a job with benefits, and buy a dream house.. Now.. for most people college is a NO WAY forget it. Getting a job is a Maybe and a job with benefits.. unlikely.. and our dream has gone from owning a house to just having a place to live and food to eat and in the process we hope we don't get some illness that is expensive to cure.
