How Do I Get Facebook Mobile To My Cell Phone?

so i want to get facebook to my phone, like subscribe to certain people and then get their status updates and Inbox messages. How do i sign this up, and how much will it cost? i have a prepaid telus LG Banter, if that helps. Thanks !
