Joining a fraternity.?

Why do it? From what I know you have to pay a fee once your admitted. You have to attend all the dances (And stupid fund raisers etc) which you may not always feel like going to. Also theres always gonna be other frats that think they are better and cooler than your own. Not to mention, if you join the wrong one and want to leave you prob wont here the end of it . Phi Kappa Alpha ("Pike" I think) is one of the few fun ones I think. Either way its just adding more structure and stress to an already demanding academic schedule. You can still have plenty of fun without being in a frat bottom line. I'm not familiar with Phi Kappa Sigma but I do know that this nerd i use to go to high school with joined "sigma sigma kai" or something so i would just avoid all the ones with a "sigma" in the name lol. good luck.
